Norwich City have been in fine form over the past 10 Championship games where they have remained unbeaten and that sees them with a one-point lead at the top of the table.
However, they have been pretty unfortunate with untimely injuries and recently started the game against Coventry City at Carrow Road with as many as 12 first-team stars missing including the suspended Emiliano Buendia.
That did not help their cause as they struggled to score from open play and they had to settle for a frustrating draw after Marco Vrancic’s penalty goal in the first half was cancelled out by Maxime Biamou with just one minute of normal time to play.
Shortly after the equaliser, the Canaries suffered yet another injury blow with right-back Max Aarons limping off the playing field. Farke has confirmed that the defender has a swelling on his shin, but he remains hopeful it is nothing serious.
The Canaries will be aiming to maintain their spot on the table on Wednesday night when they face Luton Town on the road. Midfielder Lukas Rupp and striker Teemu Pukki seem the nearest to making comebacks with minor hamstring injuries, but Farke was less hopeful of the latter featuring against Luton during a recent press conference.
Nathan Jones’ side have proved a tough team to beat in recent months with improved defensive displays and the Canaries can anticipate testing challenge, suppose Pukki misses out. The Finland international is leading their scoring charts with seven goals. Vrancic has been the second best with just three goals this term.
