Blackburn Rovers prevailed over Birmingham City 1-0 in the replay match, with Auston Trusty diverting Sammie Szmodics’ cross into his own net in extra-time.
The Riversiders will now meet Leicester City, who outclassed Walsall, at the King Power Stadium at the end of this month.
Elsewhere, Stoke City will come up against Brighton & Hove Albion following their 3-1 home win over Stevenage in the fourth-round.
Fleetwood Town will travel to Burnley, hoping to continue their impressive FA Cup run.
Meanwhile, League Two outfit Grimsby Town are still alive in the competition. They shocked Luton Town with a 3-0 win in the fourth-round replay and will now face Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium next month.
